“Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”This is a saying we are all familiar with. Connotations about diamonds conjure up all sorts of images, feelings and thoughts for people. It maybe that diamonds represents faithfulness, love, purity, innocence, and relationships filled with love. Many find diamonds to inspire creativity, faith, endurance, and helps in manifesting abundance in all areas of life. In a world of symbolism Diamonds represent clarity, ascension and wisdom underpinned by a vibrational tone of a higher wisdom. Whatever it is many people seek diamonds and know the benefits of having them in their lives none more so than a Diamond is a symbol of the richness of the Self.
On a lighter note, diamonds have such popularity and attraction that the word has been 
used in many movie and song titles. There have been many movies made about Diamonds from Gentlemen Prefer Blonds (Marilyn Monroe) to Diamonds are Forever – James Bond (Sean Connery) to a more recently Blood Diamonds (Leonardo Di Caprio). Likewise songs: Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Shine like a Diamond have been favourites over the last sixty years. This certainly illustrates the many facets of diamonds; their popularity and how we perceive them as something of beauty, wealth and value.
